Our Heritage & Terroir
Torre del Pagus is the Rapuano family estate in Paupisi (Benevento), on the slopes of Monte Taburno in the Sannio of Campania. Vineyards here have been worked across generations; each bottle is a tribute to the land of Aglianico and Falanghina. The name points to the Latin pagus — the space that grew around the heart of a farming village: land to inhabit and to cultivate. The estate makes organic wines in a close relationship to the land. Aglianico and Falanghina sit at the core of the range, with Greco and Barbera also appearing, plus sparkling Falanghina, grappa, and organic extra-virgin olive oil.
