About this estate
Bodegas Pastor Díaz is a family winery in Aldeanueva de Ebro, La Rioja, producing wine under the DOC Rioja. According to its website, the Pastor Díaz family has grown vines and made wine and olive oil since the 19th century, keeping its cellars beneath the family houses in that period. Its vineyards lie on the slopes of Monte Yerga, around Aldeanueva de Ebro and Alfaro, at altitudes of 450 to 700 metres, and are worked both as bush vines and on trellises. The current winery was founded in 1984. The winery also runs a museum and tasting space, Espacio 1946, that displays the original equipment of the old cellar.
