Our Heritage & Terroir
Domaine des Trois V is a family wine estate in Chichée, in the heart of the Chablis vineyard. A line of farmers in Chichée turned, in 2013, away from cereals to focus exclusively on the vine. The name honours three Premier Cru climats at the heart of the holdings: Vaucoupin, Vosgros and Vaugiraut. The estate works Kimmeridgian soils rich in marine fossils, linked to the freshness and mineral character of its Chardonnay wines. Between the right and left banks of the Serein, Vosgros and Vaugiraut (left bank) and Vaucoupin (right bank) express Chablis diversity. Part of the vineyard is vieilles vignes more than 40 years old. The domaine works nearly 20 hectares and about 1,200 hectolitres a year in AOP Chablis, and has held Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3 (HVE3) recognition since 2020. Practices include mechanical weeding and ploughing, exiting glyphosate, and separate pressing by parcel; élevage may use fût, amphore or stainless steel by climat.
